Quranic Arabic is the classical Arabic of the Quran. Learning it lets you understand the Quran and Islamic texts directly, without depending only on translation. It overlaps closely with Modern Standard Arabic, so what you learn also helps you read Arabic books and communicate in formal settings.
Lessons stay practical: instead of memorising grammar tables, you learn the patterns that actually appear in the Quran, then apply them to real verses straight away. You can follow the Arabic text alongside your teacher on Quran.com and revise the same passage during the week.
Level 1 — The alphabet and sounds. You start with the Arabic letters, their shapes in different positions, and the short vowels. If you can already read the Quran, your teacher will confirm your level and move you forward quickly.
Level 2 — Words and high-frequency vocabulary. Around 300 words make up a large share of the Quran. You learn these first, so meaning starts to “click” almost immediately when you read.
Level 3 — Grammar that actually matters. Nahw (sentence structure) and sarf (word forms) taught simply and only as far as you need them — each rule applied to real Quranic verses the same lesson.
Level 4 — Reading and conversation. You read passages, understand them without translation, and practise everyday spoken Arabic so the language becomes usable, not just academic.
Each level is paced to you. Children follow the same path with age-appropriate methods and shorter sessions.
