Our online Quran classes for kids are live, one-on-one lessons that teach children to read, recite and memorize the Quran with proper Tajweed — from home, at a time that fits their school routine. Certified teachers make every class friendly and engaging for ages 4 to 16, and you can start with a free trial, no credit card required.
Children aged 4–16 — from complete beginners learning the Arabic letters, to older kids working on Tajweed and memorization. Ideal for Muslim families in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and worldwide who want quality Quran teaching at home.
Every child is different, so the first class is an assessment, not a lesson: the teacher checks what your child already knows and builds from there. Children follow along with the Arabic text on screen, which you can also open at Quran.com to practise together between classes.
Ages 4–6 — Getting comfortable. Short 20-minute classes focused on the Arabic letters and their sounds through Noorani Qaida, plus the short Surahs your child already hears at home. Lots of repetition, praise and gentle correction — at this age the goal is simply that your child enjoys the class and wants to come back.
Ages 7–9 — Reading takes off. Your child moves from letters to joining words, then to reading real verses. The first Tajweed habits are introduced one rule at a time, and most children start memorizing Juz Amma alongside their reading.
Ages 10–12 — Fluency and Tajweed. Reading becomes fluent and the focus shifts to correct pronunciation: Makharij, Madd, Ghunnah and the rules that make recitation beautiful. Memorization becomes structured with a proper revision plan.
Ages 13–16 — Depth and independence. Teenagers refine their Tajweed, take on longer Surahs, and add meaning and understanding to what they recite. Many continue into a full Hifz programme at this stage.
Your child moves between these stages by ability, not by birthday — the teacher adjusts the plan every month based on real progress.
Just a phone, tablet or laptop with an internet connection — course materials are provided. No prior knowledge is needed; complete beginners are welcome from age 4.
